SITE Gives Members Safety & Educational Programs

SAFETY has become a watch-word in the construction industry with more constrictive OSHA regulations and rising insurance costs.

A company that has a safety program in place can save on insurance rates, and more importantly, can pride itself in keeping accidents on the job to a minimum. SITE has taken the step to draft a Safety Program that your company can adopt and put into action.

SITE has also prepared for its members an:

Accident Prvention Manual
Employee Safety Booklet
Emergency Notification & Safety Acknowledgement Card

EDUCATION - SITE gives its members a variety of meetings, seminars and other educational opportunities throughout the year. Various seminars are held locally in conjunction with other construction organizations on subjects as far ranging as government and safety rules to ways of controlling stress on the job.

SITE also holds its monthly general membership dinner meetings, second Wednesdays of the months, during the fall and spring months (September - April), featuring interesting and entertaining speakers. Beginning in 2001, the April meeting is also the Annual Scholarship Awards dinner. Parents and scholarships recipients are invited.

Each winter, SITE holds its annual management seminars, often in exotic locations such as Hawaii, the Caribbean, Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, Acapulco, New Orleans and Walt Disney World. Workshops held at these seminars have covered such topics as stress management, economic forecasts, investments, goal-setting and motivation.
