General Membership Meetings
Once a month, SITE provides its members a general membership meeting that features a topic that relates to the construction industry. Past meetings have featured Pete Rahn, Director of MoDOT, who spoked about the need for additional funding mechanisms for future MoDOT projects. and Larry Rebman, Director of Missouri's Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, who spoke about the OSHA-10 requirements. The General Membership meetings also gives members a chance to network with others in the construction industry such as contractors, supplies and engineers.

Communication
The SITE Newsletter is published bi-monthly to give members information on upcoming meetings and events, as well as on proposed legislation. The newsletter also contains a phone list of all members to allow easy communication between all contractors involved in SITE.
Social Activities
In the belief that continued contact with colleagues within the industry is vital to business success, SITE promotes many social activities for its members. Members develop a healthy camaraderie with their fellow contractors, allowing them to exchange ideas, discuss mutual problems and introduce new developments and equipment.
In an effort to provide this important communication time, SITE sponsors such annual social events as Golf Tournaments, the Barge Party, Christmas Party, SITE Night at the Races, baseball outings and other special events. Thanks to the generous donations by SITE's members, over 3,800 toys have been collected and distributed by Variety, the Children's Charity of St. Louis, to many disadvantaged children organizations.
