The Senate passed and President Donald Trump signed into Law, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act.  In passing the legislation, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell paraphrased a longtime political mantra, in saying, “I do not believe we should let perfection be the enemy of something that will help even a subset of workers.”

This is the legislation requiring paid sick leave.

The US Department of Labor have produced a Q & A sheet that will provide some clarity to a number of questions SITE members have.

Also, Treasury, IRS and Labor announce plan to implement Coronavirus-related paid leave for workers and tax credits for small and midsize businesses.
