1 ASSOCIATION. 7 DIVISIONS. 1 MISSION.
SITE supports Eastern Missouri contractors for the betterment of the industry through advocacy, labor relations, training and networking.
How We Serve
- LABOR RELATIONS – We assist with contract negotiations, contract interpretation, dispute resolution, prevailing wage, audit assistance, and wage notifications. SITE currently negotiates collective bargaining agreements with the Missouri/Kansas Laborers District Council, Cement Masons Local 527, and Operating Engineers Local 513.
- DIVERSITY INITIATIVE PROGRAMS – We champion and advocate for our M/WBE members. We provide equity and inclusion training for members’ field and supervisory staff. We partner with community stakeholders on solving workforce and utilization issues within the construction industry.
- NETWORKING – We create climates that cultivate an environment for our members to build strategic relationships within the industry.
- NEW BUSINESS – We operate a free-to-contractor members database that helps find new bid opportunities. We search online plan rooms, newspapers and websites and send out weekly email notifications, plan holder lists, and bid results.
- GOVERNMENT ADVOCACY – We advocate for members through solid working relationships with state and local governments and actively pursue legislation and policies that benefit our members and the construction industry.
- SAFETY TRAINING – We assist members in improving their safety rating by providing training and resources for both field and supervisory employees.
- LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING – We aid in the holistic growth of our members and their employees. Some of our training and workshops can provide PEU requirements for construction licenses. We proudly partner with Washington University in St. Louis through our Construction Leadership certificate, which can go towards a degree program.
