Throughout the year, SITE hosts several general membership meetings as an opportunity for members to network with others in the construction industry such as contractors, suppliers and engineers. The meetings feature a guest speaker to talk about issues facing the construction industry or topics of general interest. Past speakers have included St. Louis Blues media personalities Joey Vitale and Darren Pang, current MoDOT Director Patrick McKenna, former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Al Hrabosky, and many others.

In the belief that continued contact with colleagues within the industry is vital to business success, SITE promotes many social activities for its members. Members develop a healthy camaraderie with their fellow contractors, allowing them to exchange ideas and discuss new products and equipment.
SITE sponsors several annual social events such as SITE's Regular Golf Tournament, Couples Golf Tournament, Christmas Party, SITE Night at the Races, baseball outings and other special events.
Finding public construction projects should be EZ. In 2010, SITE unveiled EZ Bids which is a database of public construction projects from in and around the St. Louis area. Since 2010, EZ Bids has become a useful tool to SITE members working in the construction industry. We sort through the public newspapers and websites to make it easy for our members to find the construction projects that apply to them. We also update the website frequently to offer current information including the list of plan holders, bid results and we send weekly email notifications with new project listings.
Plus it's free to all of SITE's Contractor Members!
The SITE Newsletter is published bi-monthly to give members up to date information on construction industry related news and announcements from in and around the St. Louis area as well as notices about upcoming meetings and events. The newsletter also features a legislative report to keep the members informed about legislation in Jefferson City and Washington D.C. which could affect them and the construction industry.
